Your Company

A leading organisation within the logistics and transport sector is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR Administrator to join their busy HR team. With a workforce of around 2,000 employees, this is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure within a large, fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Based at their North Liverpool site, you'll be joining a supportive HR function that prides itself on efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This is a 6‑month fixed-term contract initially, with genuine potential to become permanent should the role be a great fit.

Your New Role

Within your new role as HR Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless employee lifecycle experience. Working within a team of four HR Administrators and reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing onboarding processes, including issuing offers, contracts, references, and right-to-work checks
  • Handling HR and payroll queries.
  • Supporting offboarding processes and managing leaver administration.
  • Maintaining accurate employee data using SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Ensuring all HR processes are followed efficiently and consistently.
  • Supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives.

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous HR administration experience - essential (12 months minimum).
  • The ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask without becoming overwhelmed.
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
  • This role is perfect for someone who enjoys structure, process, and being part of a busy, energetic team.
