The Best Connection are recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers for our client in Darlington, a leading kitchen production and distribution company. This HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver role offers the flexibility of ad-hoc tramping shifts, ideal for any HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver wanting to fit work around their schedule.
Job Responsibilities:- Tramping work with nights out as an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver
- Safe and timely deliveries
- Accurate completion of paperwork
- Represent both the client and The Best Connection to a high standard
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Digi card for an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver
- Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver preferred (less experience considered)
- Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations
- Professional attitude and smart appearance
- Induction required before starting
- Start times from 04:00 AM
- Ad-hoc tramping shifts when required
- £15.14 per hour - Monday to Friday
- £21.00 per hour - Saturday
- £28.00 per hour - Sunday & Bank Holidays
- Night out allowance: £26.20 per night
