Summary
The School of Hair and Beauty are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to join their team. The suitable candidate will work across Tuesday evening, Wednesday and Friday daytime across 14.75 hours. The successful candidate should have a background in Beauty Therapy holding a minimum of a Level 2 and Level 3 in Beauty would be advantageous, alongside a wealth of experience in Industry to be able to support learners.
The successful candidate will be part of the curriculum team, working alongside teaching staff to support learning. The role requires a proactive individual to provide practical support to the staff and students in classrooms.
Based at our Luton campus, experience working with young adults would be advantageous, as would an understanding of salon booking systems for hair and beauty services and reception work.
You will be required to manage stock and demonstrate correct and safe use of equipment to students and staff. This could include booking and allocating equipment, maintaining it or preparing it for planned practical use in lessons.
The successful candidate will always promote professionalism and excellent customer service. You will have a good practical knowledge of the hairdressing and beauty environment, supporting learners with developing reception and stock control and displays.
It is essential that you have a professional manner, good communication skills and are capable of interpreting technical information and explaining it clearly.
