We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator to join our team who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.
With this role you’ll be working as part of cross-Birmingham team, based in our East hub. The team supports people with their drug and alcohol issues to progress with their treatment.
Location: Birmingham
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Full time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35* per annum (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)
Contract Type: Permanent
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
About the Role:
Research, design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups/pods.
Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitator/s after groups/pods have taken place.
Lead on graduation events for service users who have completed the programme.
Review service user feedback and make adjustments as necessary.
Tailor specific workshops around the needs of the SUs, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etc.
Research and confirm community venues as needed
About You:
Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behaviour.
Experience of Motivational Interviewing and Psycho Social Interventions.
Ability to identify the specific needs of groups.
Understanding of evidence based interventions in a group work setting.
Qualification in counselling, group-work or equivalent.
Experience of working with psychological trauma.
