A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 11 year old boy living in Dinas Powys with my parents and little sister, we have a lively dog and 2 guinea pigs. I am an active boy I love going on my bike, playing with Lego and I am car mad!
I have a diagnosis of ASD and ADHD, I have good days and bad days sometimes I can come across younger than I am. I am looking for a Personal assistant to take me out and about, I enjoy going swimming and bowling, I like playing tennis and sometimes like looking for crabs at the beach.
PURPOSE OF JOB
To take me out in the community.
PLACE OF WORK
In the home and the community.
HOURS OF WORK
4.5 hours a week every Saturday 1-5:30pm
RATE OF PAY
£14.60 per hour plus 20 miles a week at 40p per mile.
TASKS INVOLVED
Going out in the community.
Having a game of Tennis.
To take me swimming, or bowling.
Going to the beach.
When in the house to play a board game.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Someone who is strong and disciplined.
Outgoing and friendly.
Encouraging me to build my confidence.
Someone who has an understanding or experience with learning difficulties.
ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
