Summary
Job Title: Class 2 Driver
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Contract: Temporary (up to 4 weeks) with potential Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver based in Avonmouth. This role is initially for up to 4 weeks, with the opportunity to move to a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate.
Working Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday
Start time: Between 05:00am – 06:00am
Average shift: 8 hours
Latest finish: 17:00pm
Pay rate: £16.00 per hour
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries of heating, plumbing, and bathroom products to customers across the South West and Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out multi-drop Class 2 deliveries
Delivering to multiple depots and customer locations
Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
Completing all relevant delivery paperwork
Requirements:
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience (newly passed drivers will not be considered)
No more than 6 points on licence
Confidence with multi-drop deliveries
Good knowledge of road safety and compliance
Important Information:
Vehicles are fitted with speeding trackers, which are highly sensitive. Drivers must adhere strictly to speed limits at all times.
