Summary
European Trailer Services Ltd are a transport haulage company & a Logistics Coordinator to join our friendly & experienced team based in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire.
No specific qualifications are required for this new opening. Although experience is preferrable.

Job Duties
Planning & arranging collections & deliveries to & from inside the UK & in Europe
Ensuring smooth and timely transportation of goods from collection to delivery points
Regularly monitoring & booking shipment delivery dates & collections in both Europe & UK
Liaising with our overseas offices in regards to tracking & booking shipments & raising EU customs documents
Creating & processing UK customs documents & import clearances.
Booking ferries on various online portals for customer shipments.
Accurately inputting details of shipments on our in-house database Multifreight.
Supporting our accounts team to ensure shipment sales & costs are accurately inputted.
Answering & responding effectively to email requests & bookings & telephone calls from our customers & suppliers.
Proactively assisting colleagues and undertaking ad hoc duties, as required.
Essential Skills
Basic English & Maths skills
An ability to organise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail
Work effectively within a small team
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Strong problem-solving skills grounded in practical, common-sense decision-making
Able to confidently meet strict deadlines for our customers
Preferred Skills
Able to communicate clearly with drivers, colleagues, and management
Strong knowledge of UK geography and routes
Knowledge of transportation in the European Union.
