At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 26 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.
About the role:
Our Myton at Home Service provides palliative and end of life care in the community. An exciting opportunity has arisen to for a confident, motivated, experienced Nurse within Myton at Home.
You will be:
- Carrying out holistic care assessments for patients, families and carers;
- Monitoring and assessing symptoms;
- Facilitating effective symptom relief;
- Providing clinical leadership and coordination within the Service;
- Collaborating with other teams and external organisations, as a role model and specialist practitioner with advisory as well as clinical input, to ensure patients, families and carers receive safe, high-quality care.
About you:
We would love to hear from Registered Nurses with:
- The right to work in the UK (we cannot provide sponsorship)
- Current, active NMC registration
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent Nursing qualifications
- Post-registration experience of palliative & end of life care
- UK driving licence & a vehicle you can use for work
This role requires an enhanced DBS check including the adults' and children's barred lists. We will carry out this check and cover the cost if you are appointed.
