Essential Requirements
-Experience supporting adults with complex needs
-Understanding of mental health substance misuse alcohol use and challenging behaviour
-Ability to work in a person centred way
-Good communication and record keeping skills
-Flexibility to work across different shifts
The Role
-Provide on site support within 24 hour staffed hostel services in Blackburn
-Support adults aged 18 plus with a range of support needs
-Promote independence and support individuals to move on into their own accommodation
-Manage day to day support tasks including engagement safeguarding and basic housing management duties
-Work collaboratively as part of a wider on site team
-Maintain professional boundaries in a mixed gender environment
