We're currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant at a vibrant mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Hounslow. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.

Role: SEND Teaching Assistant

Salary: £100.00 per day

Our client school is a well-regarded secondary with over 1,500 students and a thriving sixth form. Rated 'Good' by Ofsted and 'Outstanding' for personal development, the school prides itself on being inclusive, supportive, and committed to the success of all students. You'll be joining a dedicated SEND team with strong leadership and a positive working culture.

Your Role

You'll play a vital role in helping students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities access the curriculum and reach their full potential. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Providing in-class support to SEND students across a range of subjects

Assisting students during break times, lunch, trips, and extra-curricular activities

Using positive behaviour strategies to support student wellbeing

Collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes


What We're Looking For

A positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with SEND students

Previous experience working with SEND or vulnerable individuals in education, healthcare, social care, or youth/community work

Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and excellent communication skills

A desire to learn and grow - full training and CPD opportunities are provided
