What will your day look like?
As a Deputy Registrar, you’ll register births, deaths, still-births, marriages, civil partnerships, and citizenship ceremonies in line with legislation; conduct statutory ceremonies while ensuring all legal requirements are met; provide advice and guidance on registration matters; handle confidential information with integrity; support the team by covering other roles such as ceremony bookings and fee administration; and deliver exceptional customer care in a respectful and dignified manner.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who:
Has excellent customer care and interpersonal skills, with sensitivity to others’ needs.
Possess strong administrative experience and attention to detail.
Can produce accurate legal documents and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Is adaptable, politically aware and confident using ICT systems
Can work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays and travel to venues across North East Lincolnshire.
Experience in registration services and knowledge of relevant legislation is desirable but not essential – we’ll provide full training for the right candidate.
