What will your day look like?
As a Grounds Maintenance Technician for bereavement services, you will spend your day in the cemeteries undertaking a variety of tasks. You’ll begin at 7:30am by unlocking the buildings and preparing the vehicles and equipment for your day ahead. Throughout the day you will use various machinery to maintain the site and ensure the 100+ acres of grounds are looking as best as possible. You will prepared graves and excavate them ready to attend funerals, and also regularly answer queries and show members of the public to specific graves and memorials.
Who are we looking for?
You are committed to working as part of a small team in a sensitive area. You love to work outside in all weathers and are keen to learn new skills. You have experience in a front line customer service role and want to make a difference to the community.
