Summary

We're looking for a Finance Manager to join our Southern Water team based in and around Exeter



Location: Exeter - hybrid working available, with travel to the office required 1 day per week

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Finance Manager, you'll be working within the Southern Water contract team, supporting them in delivering accurate financial reporting and partnering with operational teams to drive performance.

Your day-to-day will include:

-Providing front-line financial support to local and regional management teams

-Preparing and submitting weekly cash forecasts

-Overseeing weekly and monthly reporting, including contract performance and WIP reports

-Ensuring robust control of balance sheet, CVRs, and working capital

-Partnering with Commercial and Operational teams on forecasts and performance analysis



What are we looking for?

This role of Finance Manager is great for you if:

-You are ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

-You have experience managing large-scale projects under frameworks

-You have demonstrable experience in the utilities sector, including civil engineering and electrical works

-You have strong analytical, numerical, and planning skills

-You can build strong relationships and work collaboratively across teams
