A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a leading, independent equine practice set in the heart of the stunning South Cotswolds. Established in 2002, this highly respected, family run equine breeding and performance sports horse centre has built an outstanding reputation for excellence in equine medicine and reproduction, offering a truly varied and rewarding caseload within a close knit, supportive team.

This progressive practice provides both specialist equine reproduction services and a busy ambulatory service, working closely with professional competition yards, polo teams and leisure clients. The caseload is diverse and stimulating, with a strong focus on performance horse medicine and thorough, on yard work ups. The team is equipped with an impressive range of portable diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including wireless DR systems, ultrasound scanners, video gastroscopy, endoscopy, motorised dental equipment, focal shockwave and therapeutic laser, allowing high level veterinary care to be delivered directly in the field.

While collaboration and support from experienced colleagues are always available, this role will suit a confident Equine Veterinary Surgeon with a solid grounding in ambulatory work who enjoys clinical autonomy and responsibility. Regular polo duty forms part of the role during the summer months, offering an exciting and fast paced element to the position. As such, this opportunity is ideal for a vet looking to take the next step in their equine career rather than a recent graduate.

Located in the picturesque South Cotswolds, the practice benefits from an exceptional setting that blends beautiful countryside with vibrant community life. Rolling hills, charming market towns and a thriving equestrian scene create the perfect backdrop for both professional fulfilment and an enviable lifestyle. For an Equine Veterinary Surgeon seeking career progression within a respected independent practice where their skills, ideas and dedication will be genuinely valued, this is an opportunity not to be missed!Top of Form
