Summary

Warehouse Operative

Knutsford | £12.50 per hour | Monday-Friday | Day Shift | Temporary to Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is proud to be recruiting a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established distribution client based in Knutsford. This is an immediate start role offering 40 hours of paid work per week, with the potential to progress to a supervisory level for the right candidate.

Hours & Pay
  • Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm or 9am-5pm.

  • One-hour unpaid lunch break per day.

  • £12.50 per hour.

Key Duties
  • Picking orders ready for outbound deliveries, following set procedures.

  • Labelling all orders accurately for dispatch.

  • Loading vehicles correctly and on time.

  • Goods-in duties including unloading containers, putting stock away, decanting stillages, re-palletising, and banding goods.

  • Handballing stock from containers onto pallets.

  • Following all health and safety requirements at all times.

Requirements
  • Previous warehouse experience.

  • Ability to carry out manual handling of heavy or awkward goods (desirable).

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (desirable).

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.

  • Previous FLT experience (desirable).
