How you’ll make a difference as a Forest School Practitioner:
By providing exceptional care and education in line with the EYFS, supporting each child’s individual needs both indoors and outdoors.
By working collaboratively with your team to create a safe, playful, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Through building warm, trusting relationships with families through open, supportive communication, involving them in their child’s development and outdoor experiences.
What a Forest School Practitioner needs:
A love of the Outdoors!
A Forest School or Outdoor qualification is desirable.
Must be at least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by OFSTED.
An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families.
