Summary
You will be responsible for all aspects of decontamination science duties in providing a specialised decontamination of medical devices service contributing to the clinical care of the patient - to carry out the receipt, disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, packing and sterilisation of reusable medical devices and record all tasks in the tracking and tracing database. To inspect the cleanliness/correctness of equipment together with checking the items for durability.To participate in the packing of surgical instruments, soft packs and comprehensive theatre packs. To identify problems that occurs within CSSD and brings them to the attention of a supervisor. To attend training sessions and up-dates that are laid on for departmental staff. And any other duties deemed reasonable.
