Summary

Storage Administrator

Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week)

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Location: Redditch B98


We are seeking an organised, detail-focused, and proactive Storage Administrator to join our client's Storage team. This role is central to the smooth running of our storage operation and involves managing customer accounts from start to finish - ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent service at all times.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a warehousing administrative role, along with hands-on experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and knowledge of stock control processes. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with data, supporting operations, liaising with customers, and ensuring stock records remain accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities


. Process daily customer orders accurately and efficiently
. Book stock in and maintain precise, up-to-date stock records
. Complete regular stock checks and assist with full stock takes
. Support Warehouse and Transport departments with stock queries and workflow
. Provide excellent customer service via email, telephone, and face-to-face
. Communicate stock levels, order updates, discrepancies, or issues promptly
. Build positive working relationships with customers and internal teams
. Support warehouse and transport costings
. Maintain accurate documentation and filing
. Update systems and ensure all records are current and correct
. Assist with additional administrative tasks as required

Skills & Experience Required


. Minimum 1 year experience in a warehousing administrative role
. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
. Knowledge of stock control and stock accuracy processes
. Strong communication and customer service skills
. A proactive, 'can-do' approach to work
. Good IT skills and confidence using systems
. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

. Ability to work as part of a team while using initiative
