What skills and experience we're looking for

Brigantia Learning Trust is a 2-19 multi-academy Trust comprising of Hinde House 2-16 Academy, Yewlands Academy, Longley Park Sixth Form, and Brigantia Hill Fort Academy, based in the North East of Sheffield.

Owing to our successful expansion, Brigantia Learning Trust is recruiting teaching staff to work within our Alternative Provision, ‘Belong, Learn, Transform’ (BLT). Our BLT provision serves children across Sheffield who are at risk of exclusion.

We are looking to recruit a KS3 Teacher to work with our growing team and deliver an exciting curriculum to our young people. Experience of working in AP is not necessary, though a willingness to develop strong relationships with young people and advocate for their needs is. We will offer training in de-escalation and positive handling.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team of colleagues committed to reintegrating children and young people back into their mainstream schools.

The role is based at Yewlands Academy within our BLT building.
