What skills and experience we're looking for
The school wishes to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative HLTA to support the learning of pupils. This position will commence as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will work with teachers to support teaching and learning through leading on the provision of specialist support to both the teacher and school, by covering classes and interventions as required, alongside supporting learning within the classroom.
Ayresome is committed to training one Teacher Apprentice, each year. This apprentice post will be recruited internally within the Ayresome staff; therefore, these posts may be an interest to candidates who hold the required qualification and are considering a future teaching career.
Applicants will possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. The school is looking for applicants with excellent communication and IT skills, who can develop effective relationships with pupils and colleagues, and be able to follow teachers’ plans and also take the initiative when appropriate.
Candidates should be suitably qualified and experienced and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification. Candidates must only apply using the application form provided; CV’s will not be accepted.
