About the Role
We're looking for a Night Shift Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a fast-paced operation at New Smithfield Market. You'll be working with pallets of fresh fish in a mixed role that combines forklift driving with general warehouse duties. Flexibility and attention to detail are key!
What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Loading and unloading pallets of fish
- Manual handling as part of a varied warehouse role
- Counting stock and checking pallet quantities
- Completing basic paperwork and documentation
- Keeping your work area clean and safe
What We're Looking For
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous experience in a warehouse or cold/fresh produce environment (preferred)
- Comfortable working night shifts and outdoors
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Good attention to detail for counting and paperwork
