Summary
Wyvern Primary School are looking to appoint a dedicated and energetic cleaner to join our friendly cleaning team. This is a part time post working 12.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 3pm – 5.30pm term time and an additional set of hours during the holiday periods as part of the deep cleaning process. This totals 43 weeks per year. The holiday hours are worked between the core hours of 8am – 4pm.
Wyvern Primary is a large, multi-cultural primary school, which was judged as “Good” in our January 2022 Ofsted inspection.Duties would include
• Maintaining daily cleaning of all internal areas of the school including sweeping, dusting, wall washing, toilet cleaning, mopping and use of vacuum cleaners.
• Ensuring that identified key areas of the school receive priority in the cleaning schedule.
• Undertake any additional cleaning duties as directed, by the Premises Officer & Site manager.
• Ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed, in accordance with LCC including use of cleaning materials in accordance with COSHH regulations

• able to complete tasks to a high standard
