Temporary on-going contract
£13.00 - £14.00 per hour DOE
Monday to Thursday 07.30am to 16.30pm Fridays 07.30am to 13.30pm
Immediate start available
Our client a manufacturing company based in central Dorchester is seeking a METAL POLISHING OPERATIVE to join their team on a temporary on-going basis. For the right candidate it could lead to a permanent position at the client discretion. You will be assisting the manufacturing team to finish metal products to a high standard. Metal polishing experience is required from either industrial or engineering backgrounds.
• Polishing of stainless-steel metal components;
• Fettling, Grinding, Deburring
• Polishing out weld seams
• Using various hand tools
• Operate within safety guidelines and any operating procedures
• Liaise with Production Manager to ensure jobs are completed on time
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment
Within your CV, you must show evidence of the following skills:
• Evidence of previous experience within CV
• Experience of using twin spindle polishing brushes desirable
• Excellent communication skills and able to follow instructions
• Ability to prioritise workload and pay attention to detail
• Team work is essential with this role
Candidates must hold:
• Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
