We're Hiring: Freelance Fitout Site Manager
Location: Nationwide (H/O in Castleford)
Sectors: Supermarkets
Project Types: Fitout / M&E
Dayrate: £275 - £290 a day
Duration: Ongoing projects (short term, ongoing)
Fawkes & Reece are hiring for multiple Freelance Fitout Site Managers for our client based in Castleford. The manager's will be overseeing leading supermarket fitout projects across the Northwest/Yorkshire & nationwide. Projects typically run 4 to 5 weeks in length before moving on to another project. Accommodation and fuel expenses are PAID.
Job responsibilities of the Freelance Fitout Site Manager:
- Manage supermarket fitout projects - working with leading UK supermarkets
- Ensure projects are on-time and to client specification.
- Report directly to the Project Manager and liaise with head office.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors on-site daily.
- Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
- Flexible with which projects you take.
Required Qualifications/Experience for the Freelance Site Manager:
- Experience working within supermarket fitout.
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, Temp Work Co-ordinator
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Site Managers position
- UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Must be willing to travel
- Some weekend work may be involved
