Summary
The rate of pay is £25 an hour. Approximately 1 day per week with potential for growth.
We are seeking an experienced Percussion Tutor to deliver high-quality music lessons across primary and secondary school settings in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate musician to inspire students and develop their skills in percussion and drum kit.
Key Details
Hours:
- Up to 1 day per week initially (flexible on the day)
- 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM contact time in school
- Potential to increase hours over time
- Optional Saturdays available if desired
Teaching Scope:
- Primary and secondary school ages
- 1:1, small group, and class lessons
- Primary level: instrumental lessons only
- Focus on music, percussion, and drum kit
Requirements
- Previous teaching experience (formal qualification not required)
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying ages and abilities
The person will be travelling to different schools, often multiple on the same day
Full time hours on a temporary basis.
