Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced pharmacist to be our Pharmacist Clinical Team Manager at our Scunthorpe General Hospital site. This role offers the opportunity to engage and work collaboratively at all levels within the NHS Humber Health Partnership.
As a member of the pharmacy operational team, you will be responsible for oversight of the pharmacy service to our inpatient wards at our Scunthorpe and Goole sites, working in collaboration with other team managers across the group to harmonise services.
You will have a clear vision for pharmacist prescribing on inpatient wards, relevant knowledge and experience, and experience working as a clinical pharmacist in primary and/or secondary care. You will also demonstrate the HHP group values of Compassion, Honesty, Respect and Teamwork.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the clinical pharmacy team at Scunthorpe General Hospital. The duties of the role include:
• Leading and managing the clinical pharmacy team through line management of the Advanced Clinical Pharmacists, to ensure that patients receive safe, high quality and clinically effective pharmaceutical care
• Supporting the Group Lead Pharmacist – Clinical Services & Medicines Optimisation to develop patient-focussed clinical pharmacy services provision in a manner that reflects Humber Health Partnership, local and National Health Service strategy and priorities.
• Contributing to thePharmacy Operational Group agenda and help develop a strategic vision and delivery plan for the Pharmacy Department.
• To take delegated responsibility of the Group Lead Pharmacist – Clinical Services & Medicines Optimisation in their absence.
• To contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance, controls assurance and performance measures within Pharmacy, undertaking risk management and ensuring compliance with medicines legislation
• To provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters in a specialist area, acting as a role model in clinical pharmacy practice
• To lead and develop clinical audit and research in the Care Group pharmacy teams, in collaboration with colleagues at the other Group sites.
