We are welcoming applications for a full-time Senior Social Worker on a 12-month fixed-term or secondment basis, where you will play an essential part in ensuring adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism receive the support they need to thrive.

We are looking for a qualified Senior Social Worker to join our Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) and Autism.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will have drive and enthusiasm to work collaboratively with individuals, families and other professionals.

You will be Social Work England registered.

Our Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) and Autism is a supportive and collaborative team built on compassion, inclusion and excellence.

The CTPLD and Autism is a great team to work in with a shared ethos, mutually supportive and a positive team dynamic. We work with others across the service to draw on specialist knowledge and support.

Our staff are our greatest asset, and you will receive regular supervision; have access to excellent training opportunities and the ability to develop your professional skills and interests.

Key responsibilities...
Responsible for supervising team members and the opportunity to be involved in various projects. As a valued member of the team, you will also form part of the management team for CTPLD/Autism.

You will hold a case load of people with Learning Disabilities and Autism and will be required to fulfill statutory duties on behalf of the service.

The post involves assessment, support planning and review, direct work with people who have a Learning Disability and or Autism as well as general case management duties.

You will be provided with a laptop and a mobile phone to enable remote working.
