We are currently recruiting for a forward-thinking primary academy located within a vibrant community in the Sheffield area. Roles & Responsibilities
  • Targeted Interventions: Delivering high-impact literacy and numeracy booster sessions for small groups to close attainment gaps.

  • Academic Tracking: Assisting the class teacher in recording precise data on pupil outcomes and identifying those in need of further support.

  • Inclusion Support: Providing 1:1 assistance for pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring they have full access to the broad curriculum.

  • Behaviour Mentoring: Modelling positive social interactions and using restorative approaches to help pupils manage their own conduct.

  • Resource Development: Creating bespoke learning aids and visual scaffolds to support diverse learning styles within the classroom.

  • Safeguarding: Maintaining a vigilant approach to pupil welfare and adhering to the highest standards of child protection.

Requirements
  • Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is highly desirable.

  • Experience: Proven track record of supporting pupils within a primary school setting, ideally within a structured academy framework.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills, capable of professional liaison with staff and parents.

  • Mindset: A resilient, "can-do" attitude with a genuine commitment to raising the aspirations of young people.

  • Compliance: Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to undergo a new check.
