Roles & Responsibilities
  • Instructional Excellence: Planning and delivering high-impact lessons that challenge all learners, including those with high prior attainment.

  • Data Analysis: Utilising internal tracking systems to monitor pupil progress and implement timely, effective interventions.

  • Curriculum Development: Contributing to the refinement of subject schemes of work to ensure depth and breadth of learning.

  • Collaborative Practice: Engaging in regular peer observations and professional learning communities to enhance teaching standards.

  • Parental Partnership: Building strong, professional relationships with families to support pupil attendance and home learning.

  • Classroom Management: Maintaining exemplary standards of behaviour through the consistent application of school-wide routines.

Requirements:
  • Certification: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the National Curriculum and current statutory assessment frameworks.

  • Ambition: A strong desire to take on subject leadership or whole-school responsibilities in the future.

  • Professionalism: High standards of personal and professional conduct, with a commitment to safeguarding.

  • Vetting: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory (assistance can be provided to apply).
