Roles & Responsibilities
  • Academic Interventions: Leading bespoke literacy and numeracy booster sessions for small groups to bridge attainment gaps.

  • Classroom Facilitation: Assisting the Class Teacher in the delivery of ambitious lesson plans and the preparation of high-quality learning resources.

  • Behavioural Mentoring: Implementing the school's positive behaviour policy consistently to maintain a calm and purposeful learning atmosphere.

  • Progress Tracking: Observing pupil engagement and recording precise feedback to help inform future teaching strategies.

  • Inclusion Support: Providing dedicated assistance to pupils with specific learning needs, ensuring they have full access to the curriculum.

  • Holistic Welfare: Supporting the emotional and social development of pupils, acting as a trusted professional mentor.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) or significant experience in a similar educational role.

  • Experience: Proven track record of supporting pupils within a UK primary school setting.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills suitable for an academic environment.

  • Adaptability: The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt support techniques to meet diverse learning styles.

  • Compliance: Possession of a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to undergo a new check.
