We are currently seeking an experienced Manual Lathe Turner to join our established engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who takes pride in precision work and high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:-
Operating manual lathes to produce components to tight tolerances

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Setting up machines, selecting correct tooling, and adjusting speeds/feeds

Producing one-off and small-batch components

Inspecting finished parts using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges)

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Proven experience as a manual lathe turner

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience using the following : Hardinge ,Colchester 2000 , Herbert 4 senior proactive machines.

Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm and on a Friday 7am - 12pm
