This specialist educational setting in Lewisham is dedicated to supporting children and young people with complex learning needs and disabilities. The school provides a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to develop independence, communication, and life skills alongside their academic learning.
We are looking for SEND Learning Support Assistants/SEND LSA to join us, to work within the school supporting pupil’s daily needs and learning. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA will have:
• Experience working within SEND is desirable but not essential
• Experience supporting children in groups or 1:1 desirable but not essential
• An understanding of behaviours that challenge or willingness to learn about support techniques
• A caring and nurturing personality with a willingness to learn new skills
