Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join us as Timetabling Data and Systems Manager, at a critical time as we migrate to a new timetable system. Reporting to the Head of Timetabling and Examinations you will lead the operational and technical development of the University’s timetabling service.
We are looking for an individual with strong technical and analytical skills, as well as being an effective communicator who will build relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate must a team worker who is highly motivated with excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
Establish processes for the capture of consistent timetable data in line with the annual timetable timeline and ensure the accuracy, quality and timeliness of academic timetable data
Lead on service improvements ensuring a student-centred approach to the timetable, including personalisation and accessibility.
Devise and deliver a reporting schedule, providing regular updates on all aspects of timetable performance, supporting data driven decision making, to key stakeholder groups
Take a lead role in building productive relationships between the university and the supplier of timetabling software (TimeEdit) in order to ensure full use of system functionality
Collaborate with and support colleagues in Estates and Property Services in driving improvements in estate utilisation and to capture and resolve issues which impact the efficient delivery of the timetable
