This is a full-time, on-site role located in Daresbury for a Welfare Benefits Officer. You will be responsible for managing welfare benefit claims, providing expert advice and support to our clients ensuring they receive all eligible benefits. You will work closely with social workers, DWP and other stakeholders to manage benefit claims, resolve issues and optimise financial outcomes for those in need.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Welfare Benefits Adviser
Strong knowledge of the welfare benefits system
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a diverse caseload with sensitivity and professionalism
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience working with vulnerable adults or in a corporate appointee setting
