Job Overview
Burnham Electrical Services Ltd is seeking a CAD Assistant to support the design team on a temporary basis for 1–2 months, with the potential for progression into a full-time role. The successful candidate will assist with producing and updating electrical CAD drawings across a range of building services projects using AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities
Produce, update, and maintain CAD drawings using AutoCAD
Assist with electrical design layouts including:
Containment systems (tray, trunking, conduit)
Power and small power layouts
Data and communications layouts
Lighting layouts and schematics
Fire alarm system drawings
Work from engineer and project manager mark-ups
Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and compliant with project standards
Manage drawing revisions and issue updated drawings as required.
