Summary

The candidate for this position will have gained the experience required to lead a successful team of staff and volunteers, preferably in the retail charity sector, or with proven successful experience in a retail management role, showing strong organisational and communication skills with commercial acumen.
Key responsibilities-: Leading. Motivating and training your staff. Driving sales. Maintaining shop presentation standards. Achieving targets. Product knowledge. Customer service.
Desired skills-: Self-motivation. Strong work ethic. Leadership ability and a strong commitment to the cause. Previous experience in Trading reporting, cash and banking skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. IT skills are useful.
Sales and Commercial Focus -: The role involves driving sales, managing stock, and ensuring financial performance to raise vital finds for the charity. You will oversee the warehouse and ensure all shops receive the necessary stock required to maintain a fully functioning retail outlet. Overseeing 6 shops. Excellent merchandising skills.
Operational duties-: Key responsibilities include managing daily shop operations, ensuring high standards of presentation, and maintaining a welcoming environment for customers. Maintaining daily and weekly reconciliation of finances. Liaising with staff on H&S and keeping records filed correctly. Engaging with staff on health matters and providing a confidential approach to any concerns regarding the charity or staff.

Job Type – Permanent 30 hours weekly covering 4 days a week including Saturdays on a rota basis.
Location – Pool, Redruth.
Hours - 8.45 am – 4.45 pm 30-minute unpaid lunch break
