Summary
We are looking for an experienced HGV mechanic to join our busy workshop team based in the Vale of Leven Industrial Estate near Dumbarton. Our dedicated workshop maintains our fleet of trucks and over 100 trailers including both inspection/service and MOT prep.
The role will involve:
- Preparing HGVs and trailers for MOT
- Routine vehicle and trailer maintenance
- Conducting general vehicle inspections and servicing
- Completion of all necessary inspection sheets
The ideal candidate will be:
- Time served HGV / Trailer Mechanic
- Experienced in general maintenance and repair, including welding
- Experience of working on all major manufacturers and vehicle types
- HGV class 1 licence required for travelling to MOT station
