About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sefton. This role involves providing tailored support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they can access the curriculum and thrive in a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the class teacher to implement individual learning plans.
- Provide 1:1 support to the pupil, adapting strategies to meet their specific needs.
- Assist with classroom activities and promote inclusion.
- Monitor progress and report to teaching staff and SENCO.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting is essential.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN-specific training) are desirable.
