Summary

About Us
The Virtual School champions the education of children in care and previously looked-after children, ensuring they achieve their full potential. We work closely with schools, social workers, and carers to provide high-quality support and guidance.

The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced teacher to join our Virtual School team on an initial six month fixed term contract, working for three days per week. You will play a key role in improving educational outcomes for children in care by:

Leading and quality-assuring Personal Education Plans (PEPs).
Providing advice and guidance to schools, social workers, and carers on effective strategies to support learning.
Monitoring progress and attainment, ensuring interventions are impactful.
Delivering training and support to professionals involved in the education of looked-after children.


About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial classroom experience.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by looked-after children.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyse data and implement targeted interventions.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
