Summary
Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Lancaster
Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts every 4 weeks
- AM Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- PM Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am
- Contract Type: Ongoing position
We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Production Operatives to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a manufacturing environment, ensuring the production of high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure products meet quality standards throughout the production process
- Complete relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Report any issues, faults, or deviations to Key Operatives or Team Leaders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow health & safety guidelines and company procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production area
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for completing paperwork
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
