Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support classroom teachers and enhance the learning experience for students. This role involves working closely with children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, to foster a positive and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in education, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other special needs.

Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to diverse learning needs
- Support students with special educational needs, including those with disabilities and autism, ensuring they receive appropriate assistance
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to help students achieve their academic goals
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment conducive to learning
- Support behavioural management strategies under the guidance of teaching staff
- Help prepare educational materials and resources for classroom use
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
- Encourage positive social interactions among pupils and promote good behaviour

Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is desirable
- Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities or autism is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents
- Patience, empathy, and organisational skills are essential for success in this role
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or special educational needs are beneficial but not mandatory
