Summary
Role
We are looking for a personal assistant for our client who is a happy and independent 15-year-old boy who is a power chair user.
You will be supporting our client to get out and about and enjoy his time outside of school at the weekend. This might be going to the cinema, out and about or out to a café. Our client has a love for football also and will happily watch and chat about it. The perfect PA for our client would be able the think of other new activities and new experiences for our client. Traveling from the local area is also possible as there is a regular bus service, with local train station being nearby also.
One of the most important aspects for our client is maintaining his independence, while out and about in his powerchair. As part of this role there will also be some light personal care. A driver is preferred as our client has access to an adapted vehicle, but this is not essential.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
