Summary
Last Night of Freedom have been printing garments for stag and hen groups for well over a decade now, producing more of these than anybody else in the UK. We have now launched a new brand focused on B2B printing as well as investing heavily in our building and equipment, this area of our business is primed for substantial growth.
We are looking for a hard-working, detail focused candidate to join our team in our Gateshead based print room and warehouse. Previous experience is not essential but both an eye for detail and a willingness to work in fast paced environments will be expected. Candidates with a background in hospitality have been particularly suited to this role. We are looking for somebody who relishes being busy, who thrives on pressure and who takes pride in their work!
This roll will predominantly involve the production of custom items; T-shirts, hoodies and tote bags for example, working as part of an established team using cutting edge machines and printing techniques. You will also be required to pick, pack and dispatch orders for our stag and hen accessories shop.
Main responsibilities to include:
Printing and embroidery
Basic maintenance of printing machinery
Quality control
Picking, packing, labelling and dispatching of orders from our online shop
Receiving, counting and storing of stock in our warehouse
Monitoring stock levels and reordering when necessary
Customer service via email
General tidying and other tasks as instructed
The role will involve some lifting of boxes etc, and our warehouse is not temperature controlled, it’s cold in the winter
We are initially offering a contract until the end of August 2026, with the possibility of the position becoming permanent, the role will be between 20 and 40 hours per week and it is very likely that overtime will also be required during busy times. Standard working days are Monday to Friday with the possibility of weekend, early morning or evening work if required.
This role will be hourly paid at minimum wage plus performance bonuses.
