We’re looking for a Project Manager to manage the delivery of small to medium projects, sub-projects of programmes or workstreams within projects. To support Senior Project Managers and/or Programme Managers on significant and challenging areas of large projects/programmes.

You will promote the use of preferred delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, MSP, SCRUM and Kanban) across the Change Portfolio. To provide support, advice and guidance to the Programme and Project Management Community (PPMC) in using these methodologies as well as compliance with the Assurance Framework and Programme and Project Management Framework (PPMF) standards.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Establish Project Structure and roles in conjunction with the Project Executive.
  • Define and clearly articulate objectives for each project role.
  • Review structure and team to take account of evolution of the project.
  • Initiate governance and processes to assure project will meet objectives on time, within budget and to specified quality.
  • Agree any delegation and use of project assurance roles required by the Project Board, Introducing external scrutiny as appropriate.
  • Liaise with the Project Board or its appointed Project Assurance roles to assure the overall direction and integrity of the project.
  • Implement appropriate action resulting from assurance activities and reviews.
