Summary

PERMANENT Exhaust Welder / Fabricator

MIG Focus | TIG Advantage | Day Shift

Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Pay: £15.00 – £18.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Day shift
⏱ Overtime: Available
Contract: Permanent

‍ The Opportunity

Workforce are currently working with a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Walsall, who are looking to add a PERMANENT Exhaust Welder / Fabricator to their skilled workshop team.

This role is heavily focused on MIG welding, producing high-quality exhaust systems. If you can also TIG weld, you’ll have the opportunity to work on more varied and specialist jobs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • MIG welding exhaust systems and components


  • Fabrication of pipework using drawings, jigs, and templates


  • Cutting, forming, and fitting stainless and mild steel


  • TIG welding where required (advantageous)


  • Maintaining high standards of weld quality and finish


  • Working safely in a clean, well-organised workshop


    ✅ What We’re Looking For

    • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator (exhaust experience preferred)


    • Strong MIG welding skills (essential)


    • TIG welding experience (desirable but not essential)


    • Ability to read basic engineering drawings


    • Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship


    • Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
