Digital Skills Tutor - £30.18 per hour (includes holiday pay) - Across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
Want to make a real difference teaching digital skills? Looking for flexible, rewarding work where you help adults gain confidence and independence online?
Join us at Westway Trust and use your skills to change lives in your local community. As a Digital Skills Tutor, you’ll work part-time during term-time, helping adults across Kensington and Chelsea to build essential digital skills—from using a computer to navigating the digital workplace.
This is a chance to grow your teaching experience, use your creativity, and support people who really benefit from your knowledge. You’ll get to shape how sessions run, connect with learners from all walks of life, and feel proud of the impact you’re making.
Hours: Part-time, term-time
The role
You’ll design and run friendly, practical sessions in ICT and digital skills—everything from getting started with technology to workplace tools. You'll work with both employed and unemployed adults, tailoring lessons to their goals and helping them progress.
Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on experience in course planning, working with exam boards, and supporting learners at different levels. It’s a great opportunity to develop your teaching skills while doing work that really matters.
Key Responsibilities
Create and deliver engaging, learner-centred digital skills sessions
Support learners with personalised feedback and advice
Help learners track progress, prepare for assessments, and build confidence
Design activities that make digital learning simple and enjoyable
Keep clear records and contribute to planning and team discussions
Be part of shaping and improving the adult learning programme
