Summary
Role: Machine Operator
Hours: 6am to 6pm, Monday to Thursday rotating 6pm to 6am, Monday to Thursday.
Pay: £12.60/hr paid weekly.
JDR are working with a leading manufacturing company based in the Port Talbot area who are seeking a Machine Operator on a Temp-to-Perm contract.
The Machine Operator should be able to complete demanding physical duties and complete challenging problem-solving tasks these may include:
- Remaining in challenging physical positions for long periods of time
- Lifting a minimum of 23 kilograms
- Monitoring equipment
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Setting up machines so they are ready to use
- Following established rules and procedures
- Carrying out safety checks on the machinery
Requirements:
- Ability to work shifts (days and nights)
- Complete physical duties
- Ability to take basic measurements and complete documentation
