Crisis Recovery Worker
Location: Crisis Recovery House, Chorley
Hours: 5 shifts per week (various shift patterns)
Weekends: 2 weekends off per month
Salary: £24,243 – £28,930 per annum
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Crisis Recovery Worker to join a dedicated team supporting adults experiencing mental health crisis. Based within a residential crisis recovery house, you will play a vital role in providing short-term, recovery-focused support in a safe and therapeutic environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about mental health, values person-centred care, and thrives in a supportive, team-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide emotional and practical support to individuals in mental health crisis
Promote recovery, independence, and wellbeing through person-centred approaches
Work collaboratively with clinical teams, external professionals, and support networks
Support individuals to develop coping strategies and recovery plans
Maintain accurate records in line with policies and procedures
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times

Experience in mental health, crisis support, or a related care setting (desirable)
A calm, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach
Ability to work flexibly across a variety of shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills
