A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Essex. CBW is currently looking for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a Healthcare Environment. The successful candidate will be Mechanically biased (NVQ, C&G) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance to the following :
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor the mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist sub-contractors
- General building fabric
- Undertake repairs to HVAC Plant and Associated Systems to a high standard.
- Undertake installation, alteration and repairs to pipework systems as needed.
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
Hours of work / Rate / contract details
- Monday - Friday
- 10am - 7pm
- Starting ASAP
- £24p/h - ( paid via umbrella )
- Up to £39k
Requirements
- Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2&3
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Good communication skills
- Client Facing
- Immediately available or able to start at short notice
