CBW have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be a part of a world-famous historical venue's in-house maintenance team, based in South Kensington. This position involves working at a prestigious event space, ensuring the smooth running of the iconic venue. The site will be within a 10-minute walk of major transportation hubs, such as South Kensington (Underground) and High Street Kensington (Underground). This is a rare client-direct opportunity offering stability, excellent benefits, and genuine career progression within one of the UK's most respected organisations. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC systems, air handling units / fan coil units, daily plant room checks and general building maintenance tasks, as this will be their responsibility and have a proven track record in building services. In return, the company is offering a competitive
salary of up to £55,326 per annum, 22 shift days holiday, strong progression opportunities and private health care.
Hours:
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
- 2 early shifts: 07:00 am–17:30 pm
- 2 late shifts: 16:00 pm–02:00 pm
- Cab home provided after late shifts (must live within M25)
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily plant room checks and general maintenance.
- Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems — lighting, power distribution, control panels, and ballast changes.
- Monitor and test emergency lighting systems.
- Support HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs – filter changes, resets, and cleaning).
- Monitor chillers, BMS, UPS systems, and take operational readings.
- Proactively identify faults, report issues, and ensure compliance with all H&S regulations.
- Liaise professionally with client staff and the site management team.
- Remain flexible and proactive across all assigned tasks within your competency.

Requirements:
- Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- Testing & Inspection certification (preferred)
- Experience in commercial building services (landlord & tenant areas desirable)
- Apprentice trained (Desirable, not essential)
- Ability to work the 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
